This is a week long (five day) camp designed for kids age 5 to middle school age. Kids will be grouped based on their age and skill level. Camp begins at 8:30 and ends at 3:00. The cost of the camp is $150. Lunch is included with camp fee. A camp t-shirt is guaranteed for all who register by July 1st.
Camp Schedule
7:30-8:30: Pre-Check In for working parents who are dropping off at Westwood campus.
8:30 AM: Check-in
8:40 AM: Camp Begins // Fielding Circuit, Defensive, Pitching, Base Running Drills
11:00 AM: Lunch
11:20 AM: Homerun Challenge
11:50 AM: Batting Circuit // Power vs. Contact, Bunting
12:40 PM: Hitting Competitions
1:10 PM: Throwing Competitions
1:45 PM: Slip n' Slide Baseball (Highlight of The Camp!)
2:50 PM: Best Teamate Prize Award Ceremony ( Good teamates play longer, make more friends, & Have more confidence)
3:00 PM: End of First Day
3:10 - 4:00 PM: Late Pickup for Working Parents
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:- What if the weather is bad?
In the case of inclement weather, we will hold camp inside the gym by the baseball field.
- What should my camper wear?
Baseball pants work, but they'll be most comfortable in athletic shorts or swim trunks and t-shirt. We provide the camp t-shirt If registered by July 2nd. Afterward it's while they last.
- What baseball equipment should we bring?
All baseball equipment. Catchers make sure to bring your gear.
- Will there be concessions available?
No. Snacks will be provided mid-morning and after lunch. Water will be available during water/rest breaks.
Skipstone high school and middle school coaches along with high school and college players from our local area.
Of course, anybody interested in baseball is welcome. They will learn valuable skills and have a ton of fun at this camp! Remember, we separate players based on age and general skill level for the best camp experience.
- Do your coaches undergo background checks?
Yes, we do extensive background checks on each coach for them to be considered as a Skipstone Baseball Camps coach.
- Will you provide transportation from Griffin campus
No, transportation will
not be provided this year.
