Hillsborough Street Hockey Camp

The Hillsborough Street Hockey Camp is back for its Fifth Anniversary in 2020.

Join us this spring and summer as we aim to develop young athletes and teach the game of hockey as well as unite the community. No hockey experience is necessary - rookies to pros are welcome. Boys and girls 5-17 are welcome. Please bring your own equipment if owned (although we provide) and water for hydration.

The camp will run (tentatively) every Wednesday from May 13 through July 22. It runs 7-8 in the evening.

The Hillsborough Street Hockey Camp is proudly supported by the New Jersey Devils.

About Coach Mike

Michael Panchery has been playing ice hockey since the age of seven. He has developed from B level up to AA, playing all different positions, but specializing at center. Most recently, he was the captain of the Protec Ducks 18AA team and alternate captain of Hillsborough Varsity.

As a coach, Michael founded the street hockey camp in 8th grade using the techniques and drills taught to him by elite coaches, such as Tommy Davis (Princeton NCAA D1),  Tim Cook (Belfast Giants/Ottawa Senators), and Alex/Ilya Yavtuhovich.

In 2019, he was named the assistant coach of the Protec Predators and helped lead that team to win the league championship. He is also supposed to coach the Hillsborough Middle School team and Protec Predators in the spring of 2020.

Outside of coaching, Michael is a USA Hockey Official.

Coach Mike focuses sharply on skill and character development.
