the experience of a lifetime. Children 5-13 have been learning about the animals at our
specialty camp for 20 years, (teens can apply as helpers). This is our personal private
farm, so it lacks to commercialism of many camps. We are children oriented and have
raised a few dozen ourselves! Our farm is open by appointment for tours and schools
during the school year. We also bring our animals to events off the farm. But in the
SUMMER.....it's FARM CAMP TIME! We open it to children every summer to make
memories to last a lifetime!
Farm camp runs May-Aug. and there are several weeks from which to choose.
Sign up for just one, or several weeks. Children stay for four hours a day, and Everyday
we learn what makes a specific animal or animal group unique to the farm.
On Sheep day, we shear the sheep and make a project with it's wool.
On Pony day we all get rides and groom the ponies, donkeys.
On chickens and ducks day, we might feather paint with their feathers, or go feather hunting!
Arts and crafts, drama and hands on animal husbandry are all part of the thematic
day. Children never want to leave!
Your camp hosts are the owners of Noah's Ark on Wheels, educators and parents to 6-8
children at any given time! Farmer Rou has taken care of medically needy foster children
(16 years,) and now is the National Director for a Telemedicine company.
All helpers and family members on farm have been FBI background checked.
The farm is insured, as is our mobile petting zoo. We are happy to be in
our 20th season of farm camp with many satisfied parents and children year after year!
Only 25 children max per week accepted, so reserve early.
