***We will extend registration until August 24th, 2016***The 1st Annual "Best of the West" 3v3 Soccer Tournament" presented by Spotted Fox is coming to Tri Cities, Washington August 27th, 2016 at the Southridge Sports Complex. Special guest this year will be former number 1 overall pick of the Seattle Sounders, Steve Zakuani! This event is a chance for players of ages U7 to U17(both girls and boys) and 18+ division to compete in a fun and family friendly environment. This tournament is a Qualifying event for the Challenge Sports 3v3 National Championship, at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, at Walt Disney World® Resort, July 28-30, 2017. The top 4 teams in each division qualify. There's a 3 GAME guarantee. The game shall consist of two 12 minute halves separated by a two minute halftime period, OR the game shall end when a team reaches a 10 goal lead.Top 2 teams from each division will play an additional game to be crowned winner of division. Top 4 of each division still qualify for the Challenge Sports 3v3 National Championship. Player Registration: All players must be registered on their teams' registration form before the tournament begins. Any team or player determined by the event director to have falsified age or skill level will be dismissed from the tournament.

ROSTERS: All rosters are final upon completion of the team's first game.

NUMBER OF PLAYERS: SIX is the maximum number of players on a team; three field players at one time. Players may only play on one team per division. There are no goalkeepers in 3v3 soccer. Substitutes may occur at any dead ball situation, but players must get referees attention and enter and exit at the half-field mark only.

GENDER: No males will be allowed to participate in any female divisions, except co-ed division. Females CAN play in male divisions. Co-ed division must have at least one female on the field at all times.

3v3 soccer allows each player more opportunities to touch the ball, using and improving their soccer skills. Small sided soccer games are exciting, develops team chemistry and allows more opportunities to score a goal. The objective of small-sided games is a stair step approach for young players to grow into the adult game of 11 versus 11. The tournament will also feature carnival games, food and raffles.
