Easter for Kids will be held on Saturday, April 8 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.  Volunteers must arrive by 8:30 am on Saturday. 

This is an exciting outreach event for Reformation! It will be a fun-filled day of Easter activities including crafts, songs, activities, a yummy snack, and a celebration of the life and resurrection of Jesus!

One of the things that has made this event a success in the past has been our volunteers!  Volunteers ensure children have a wonderful time learning about Jesus and the messages he teaches.  We need volunteers to help make this year's Easter for Kids, a great success. Please take a moment to register for volunteer positions such as Crew Leader, Registration, Snacks, and Station Helper. (See job descriptions below)

Please note that Crew Leaders should be volunteers who are 12 years old or older. Volunteers who are 12 years old, please sign up for other roles. Thank you!

Easter for Kids takes place from 9:00 a.m. to 12 Noon.  An Easter Egg Hunt will follow. Volunteers will be asked to arrive by 8:30 a.m.

Job Descriptions:

Registration Volunteers:  Staff the check-in tables (pre-registered and walk-ins). Welcome children and families, and provide name tags to each child. Some volunteers will escort children to their Crew Leaders.

Crew Leaders: Welcome assigned children. Escort children throughout event, through the activity rotation. Assist activity leaders at each rotation. Escort children to the restrooms as needed. Keep the group engaged in the event and ensure best behavior is followed at all times.

Station Helpers: Volunteers will assist with the different activities during the event. This year, the stations are focused on Palm Sunday, the Last Supper, prayer in Gethsemane, and Jesus' death and resurrection. Some stations include a craft or an activity to illustrate Bible story points. Please note on your sign up if you have a preferred station. 

Snacks Volunteers:  Prepare for the identified snack and help to serve the snack to the kids throughout the event. Also help talk to the children about the significance of the snack being served. Crew leaders will help with you and the children with the snack.The Snack volunteers are responsible for set up and clean up in the assigned area.
