Vacation Liberty School of Georgetown
Thank you for signing up for the Vacation Liberty School of Georgetown camp. We are looking forward to teaching your child about the history of our great country!
In order to maintain high standards of your child’s safety, please fill out the following forms, which will be sent in a following e-mail as attachments.
Individual Registration and Health Form – Be sure to list any medical conditions, allergies, special accommodations and medication currently being taken. If your child has a serious medical condition such as allergic anaphylactic shock, you will be required to stay at the camp.
Transportation Form– Transportation permission states who has your permission to pick up your child. Children will not be allowed to leave with anyone who is not listed on the form. Please be prepared to show your ID when picking up your child. This is for your child’s safety.
Photo Permission Form – This form gives you the option to allow us to use your child’s photo for any future publications (no names are included on the photos unless you give permission to do so).
Parent Authorization, Consent and Release Form – This form is just a standard liability waiver form required by most camps and activities. You will need to fill out one of these forms per child.
Vacation Liberty School runs from Monday to Friday from 9am to noon.
We provide a snack. If your child has food restrictions (such as allergies or because of braces), please send snacks for your child as well. Please put your child's name on any food he brings so we may correctly identify it.
Arriving at Camp:
On the first day of camp, please arrive between 8:30am and 8:45am so that we may finalize your child’s registration. At that time, we will be collecting the forms mentioned above and will give your child a nametag to wear each day.
On subsequent days, please arrive between 8:45am and 8:50am to allow us to check your child in and start our camp promptly at 9am.
Check In and Out
For your child’s safety, it is required that you sign your child in upon arrival and you check your child out upon departure.
To ensure that everyone’s camp experience is a good one, we expect our campers to follow the main rule of the camp, which is respect: respect for staff, respect for one another and respect for our facilities. While we expect that all children will behave in a respectful manner, we reserve the right to dismiss a camper in the unlikely event that there are discipline issues. Parents or guardians will be contacted by phone to arrange the child to be picked up.
Please label any personal belongings that your child brings to Vacation Liberty School. No electronic devices are allowed to be used during our camp, including cell phones, hand-held video games, CD players, or iPods.
Please dress your child in comfortable play clothes and shoes. We prefer that your child wear gym shoes, not sandals or flip-flops, as this will maintain your child’s safety when playing running games.
If you have questions, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org . We look forward to seeing you soon!
