Dear Parent or Guardian,

Southwest Idaho Area Health Education Center (SW ID AHEC) and local health professionals have partnered together to bring Health Careers Camp to middle and high school students. The Health Careers Camp program introduces students to careers in health professions and provides exposure to health professionals in their community.

Participants will learn about:

What it takes to become a healthcare professional, including exciting hands-on activities and mentoring led by medical, dental, and behavioral health professionals.
Idaho’s healthcare training programs and pathways and how to chart their own path to becoming a healthcare professional.

We are able to offer this event at no cost to students and their families thanks to a grant from the St. Luke’s Community Health Improvement Fund and support from Idaho State University. We hope you are as excited as we are about this FREE opportunity for your student!

For your child to participate in Health Careers Camp, you must agree to the acknowledgments and consent below.
