WEATHER, RESCHEDULING, AND NO REFUND POLICY

The R2Scouting Basketball Combine is an outdoor and athletic event that may be affected by weather conditions or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of event organizers.

In the event of severe weather or other conditions that make it unsafe or impractical to conduct the scheduled activities, the R2Scouting Basketball Combine reserves the right to delay, suspend, modify, or postpone any portion of the event.

Whenever reasonably possible, postponed activities will be moved to the following weekend. If the event cannot be completed the following day, the R2Scouting Basketball Combine may reschedule the affected activities or event for another date within 180 days of the originally scheduled event date.

ALL REGISTRATION FEES ARE NONREFUNDABLE.

No refunds, credits, reimbursements, or chargebacks will be issued because of weather-related delays, postponements, schedule changes, venue changes, or rescheduling within the 180-day period.

By registering for or participating in the R2Scouting Basketball Combine, the participant, parent, or legal guardian acknowledges and accepts this policy and understands that registration fees secure participation in the event or its rescheduled date rather than guaranteeing that all activities will occur on the originally scheduled date and time.

The R2Scouting Basketball Combine will make reasonable efforts to communicate schedule changes and rescheduling information to registered participants using the contact information provided during registration.

R2SCOUTING MIDDLE SCHOOL BASKETBALL COMBINE

PARTICIPANT WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. THIS IS A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT. BY SIGNING, YOU GIVE UP LEGAL RIGHTS FOR YOURSELF AND YOUR CHILD, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE FOR INJURIES CAUSED BY ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE, AND YOU AGREE TO ARBITRATION AND WAIVE A JURY TRIAL. YOU MAY REFUSE TO SIGN, BUT YOUR CHILD MAY NOT PARTICIPATE WITHOUT A SIGNED WAIVER.

1. RISKS. I understand that the R2Scouting Middle School Basketball Combine (the "Event") includes measurements, timed athletic testing, skill drills, and full-contact scrimmages. Risks include sprains, fractures, growth plate injuries, head, eye, and dental injuries, concussion, heat illness, sudden cardiac arrest, collisions with players and objects, falls, and the conduct of others. These risks can cause serious injury, permanent disability, or death. I voluntarily assume all of these risks for my child and for myself.

2. RELEASE. In exchange for my child being allowed to participate, I, for myself, my child, and our heirs, release and agree not to sue Recruit Runner Inc., doing business as R2Scouting, its owners, employees, contractors, coaches, evaluators, volunteers, and sponsors, and the owner and operator of the venue (the "Released Parties"), for any claim of injury, illness, death, or property loss arising from the Event, INCLUDING CLAIMS CAUSED BY THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES. This release does not cover gross negligence, recklessness, or intentional misconduct. It applies to the fullest extent permitted by the law of the state where the Event is held. If that law limits a parent's ability to release a child's claims, this release applies to my child's claims only to the extent allowed and applies to my own claims in full.

3. INDEMNITY. I will indemnify the Released Parties against claims by others arising from my conduct or my child's conduct at the Event and, where the law allows, against released claims brought on my child's behalf.

4. HEALTH AND MEDICAL CARE. My child is physically able to participate, and I have disclosed any medical conditions in the registration form. If I cannot be reached, I authorize Event staff to give first aid and to obtain emergency medical care and transport for my child. I am responsible for all medical costs. R2Scouting does not provide accident or medical insurance.

5. CONCUSSION AND CARDIAC SAFETY. I have reviewed the concussion and sudden cardiac arrest information with my child. Any participant who shows signs of a concussion, faints, or shows cardiac warning signs (such as chest pain, a racing heartbeat, unusual shortness of breath, or dizziness during exercise) will be removed and will not return that day. The participant may return to later R2Scouting activity only with written clearance from a licensed health care professional, as the law of the host state requires.

6. MEDIA. If I opt in on the registration form, R2Scouting may photograph and record my child and may use my child's name, image, voice, school, grade, position, hometown, measurements, and evaluations in any media, including R2scouting.com and social media, without payment. R2Scouting will never publish my child's address, telephone number, email address, or full date of birth. I may revoke this permission for future uses by email to [info@recruitrunner.com].

7. DATA AND EVALUATIONS. R2Scouting will collect my child's measurements, test results, video, and evaluations. Evaluations are professional opinions and do not guarantee any ranking or recruiting outcome. R2Scouting will not sell my child's personal information or share it for targeted advertising, and will share it with coaches and athletic programs only if I opt in on the registration form. For children under 13, R2Scouting complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. I may request review, correction, or deletion of my child's information by email to [info@recruitrunner.com].

8. CONDUCT AND SUPERVISION. My child will follow staff instructions and the Event Code of Conduct. R2Scouting may remove anyone for unsafe or disruptive conduct without a refund. R2Scouting supervises participants only during scheduled activities in designated areas; I am responsible for my child at all other times, including drop-off and pickup.

9. DISPUTES. This agreement is governed by the law of the state where the Event is held. Any dispute will first go to mediation and, if unresolved, to final and binding individual arbitration under the American Arbitration Association Consumer Arbitration Rules in the county where the Event was held, except claims that qualify for small claims court. ON BEHALF OF MYSELF AND MY CHILD, I WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY CLASS ACTION.

10. GENERAL. If any part of this agreement is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. My electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature. I am at least 18 years of age and am the parent or legal guardian of the participant, with legal authority to sign this agreement.

I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS AGREEMENT AND SIGN IT VOLUNTARILY ON BEHALF OF MYSELF AND MY CHILD.

NOTICE TO THE MINOR CHILD'S NATURAL GUARDIAN

READ THIS FORM COMPLETELY AND CAREFULLY. YOU ARE AGREEING TO LET YOUR MINOR CHILD ENGAGE IN A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS ACTIVITY. YOU ARE AGREEING THAT, EVEN IF RECRUIT RUNNER INC., DOING BUSINESS AS R2SCOUTING, USES REASONABLE CARE IN PROVIDING THIS ACTIVITY, THERE IS A CHANCE YOUR CHILD MAY BE SERIOUSLY INJURED  BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS ACTIVITY BECAUSE THERE ARE CERTAIN DANGERS INHERENT IN THE ACTIVITY WHICH CANNOT BE AVOIDED OR ELIMINATED. BY SIGNING THIS FORM YOU ARE GIVING UP YOUR CHILD'S RIGHT AND YOUR RIGHT TO RECOVER FROM RECRUIT RUNNER INC., DOING BUSINESS AS R2SCOUTING, IN A LAWSUIT FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, INCLUDING DEATH, TO YOUR CHILD OR ANY PROPERTY DAMAGE THAT RESULTS FROM THE RISKS THAT ARE A NATURAL PART OF THE ACTIVITY. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TO SIGN THIS FORM, AND RECRUIT RUNNER INC., DOING BUSINESS AS R2SCOUTING, HAS THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TO LET YOUR CHILD PARTICIPATE IF YOU DO NOT SIGN THIS FORM.
