Mario Lane is a native of Montgomery Alabama that grew up with a raw talent for football. While attending G.W. Carver High School in Montgomery, he was ranked the top player and #1 defensive athlete in Alabama earning numerous Division 1 scholarship offers. Scouts considered him a well-rounded player that could dominate on either side of the ball: defensive end and tight end.

After much contemplation, Mario went on to play as starting Defensive End (as a true Freshman) at Alabama State University, a Division 1 team closest to home. He played a vital role in the team’s successful 2004 SWAC Championship win. Mario soon found his home in Atlanta Georgia where he attended Morehouse College and was selected as a defensive player on SAIC’s All-Conference 1st Team.

Since transitioning from college, Mario has gone on to pursue a career in coaching. He has made a strong impact on student-athletes and has a passion for athletic achievement. Such passion and impact lead Mario Lane towards the vision and mission of 3TA.

At 3TA, we train players of all ages and abilities with the mindset to grow and develop in their skillset. Our approach is to provide players with the fundamental techniques to harness the ability to perform confidently in the “trenches” amidst competition.

Specializing in Defensive/Offensive Linemen training on: stance, footwork, get off, run blocks, pass blocks, pass rush, recognition, containment, slants, stunts, loops, tackling, and agility.
