Select Show Horses 

Summer Camp

Ages 5 and up

Looking for the perfect place to send your horse lover this summer? Look no further than Select Show Horses!  Whether your child has prior riding experience or is a new rider, there will be so much for them to do at our horse camps.  Campers will participate in daily riding lessons and instruction on the proper way to groom and care for a horse.  Nutrition, stable management and equipment care will also be discussed. They will have the opportunity to display creative talent when they paint and decorate the horses!  Crafts and horse activities will be a part of each day.  Our camps will keep your horse lover busy while teaching them to be responsible and respectful to their horse buddy.  The last day of the camp, we host a "Parent Show" at 12:00pm where the riders will show off their new riding skills learned at horse camp!

Camp runs 9:00 to 2:00, Monday through Friday.  Camp ends on Friday immediately following the show.

 Limited to 20 campers per session

 No previous riding experience necessary.

Riders should bring the following:

1.   Lunch pack - refrigerator available
2.   Water Bottle
3.   Sunscreen
4.   Boots or Tennis Shoes - Closed Toe Shoes Only
5.   Long Pants
6.   Clothing for Painting and Stall Work
7.   A riding helmet (or borrow one of ours)
8.   Towel and Swimsuits for Water Activities (end of each day and camper can opt not to participate)
